Before You Register

Getting started

• What specifications are requires to take the GED® test?

You need a valid GED account. On the day of the exam, you must have an original ID card (passport, registration card, or driver's license). There are no additional qualifications required.

• GED ဖြေမယ်ဆိုဘာတွေလိုအပ်ပါသလဲ?

GED အကောင့်တစ်ခုလိုပါတယ်။ ဖြေဆိုတဲ့နေ့မှာအသုံးပြုဖို့ ID card မူရင်း ( passport or မှတ်ပုံတင် or Driven License) တခုခုရှိရပါမယ်။ other Qualification အနေနဲ့လိုအပ်တာမျိုးတော့မရှိပါဘူး။

Identification

• On exam day, if my ID card is damaged for various reasons, can I still use it? Am I allowed to use a Smart Card to take the exam?

If the ID card is damaged, it cannot be used to take the exam at all. Currently, the participants are not able to take the exam using the Smart Card yet.

• Exam Day မှာ အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် ID Card ပြဲတာ မီးလောင်ထားတာ အ‌ပေါက်ပါရင် သုံးလို့ ရပါသလား? Smart Card သုံးပီး Exam ဖြေလို့ ရပါသလား?

Creating an account

• What are the important points to take note when creating a GED account?

A student is only allowed to create one GED account, which needs to be created using their personal Gmail. The name, spacing, and date of birth must match exactly as they appear on the ID card. When selecting the country and testing jurisdiction, you need to include the country you will be taking the test. If you created two or more accounts, alerts will pop up in your account, and you are only able to take the test after solving the alerts.

• GED အကောင့်ဖွင့်တဲ့အခါ သတိထားရမဲ့အချက်တွေကဘာတွေဖြစ်မလဲ?

GED အကောင့်ကကျောင်းသားတစ်ယောက်ကိုတစ်ကောင့်ပဲဖွင့်ခွင့်ရှိပါတယ်။ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ကိုယ်ပိုင် gmail နဲ့ဖွင့်ပေးပါ။ နာမည်စာလုံးပေါင်း ,spacing နဲ့မွေးနေ့စတာတွေက ID card ထဲကအတိုင်းလုံးဝတူနေရ ပါမယ်။ Country နဲ့ Testing Jurisdiction ရွေးတဲ့အခါ ကိုယ်ဖြေမဲ့ နိုင်ငံကိုထည့်ပေးရပါမယ်။ အကောင့်နှစ်ခုဖွင့်တာမျိုးလုပ်ခဲ့ရင်ဖြေလို့ရမှာမဟုတ်ပဲ Alert တွေပေါ်နေမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Alert ကိုရှင်းပြီးမှသာ exam ဖြေခွင့်ရှိမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Accommodation

• Can I take the GED® test at home?

No, you can’t. Since it is a center-based exam, it can only be taken at the Pearson VUE test centers authorized by GED®.

• GED real test ကိုအိမ်မှာဖြေလို့ရပါသလား?

မရပါဘူး။ center based exam ဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် GED ကိုဖြေဆိုနိုင်တဲ့ PearsonVUE test center များမှာပဲဖြေလို့ ရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Age restriction

• Are there any age restrictions for the candidates taking the test?

Those under 16 years old are not allowed to participate. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18, your parent or legal guardian will need to submit an age consent form by sending an email to agealert@ged.com. It can last from a day to about a week to proceed.

• GED ဖြေဆိုဖို့အသက်ကန့်သတ်ချက်ရှိပါသလား?

အသက် ၁၆ နှစ်အောက်ဆိုရင်ဖြေဆိုခွင့်မရှိပါဘူး။ အသက် ၁၆ မှ ၁၈ နှစ် အတွင်း ဆိုရင်တော့ မိဘအုပ်ထိန်းသူကလက်မှတ်ထိုးပြီး age consent form တင်ဖို့လိုပါတယ်။ agealert@ged.com ကို mail ပို့ပေးရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ တစ်ရက်ကနေ တစ်ပါတ်ခန့်အထိကြာနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Taking the test

• What are the necessary steps to take the GED® Ready test?

You can choose your desired time and place to take the GED® Ready test; you only need your laptop/desktop and internet access. You can take the test within three months after making the purchase. (The expiration date is already set once you paid).

• GED ready test ကိုဘယ်လိုမျိုးဖြေဆိုရမှာလဲ?

GED ready test ကိုမိမိအဆင်ပြေမဲ့နေရာ၊ အချိန်မှာဖြေဆိုနိုင်ပါတယ်။ laptop/desktop, internet အဆင်ပြေရင်ဖြေဆိုနိုင်ပါတယ်။ test fees သွင်းပြီး ၃ လအတွင်းဖြေဆိုနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ( expired date တခါတည်းပါပြီးသားဖြစ်ပါတယ်)။
GED® Ready test fees

• How much are the fees for the GED® Ready test?

The test fees are $7.99 per subject or $25.99 for all subjects. You can only start taking the GED® test after successfully completing the GED® Ready test.

• GED Ready test fees က ဘယ်လောက်ကျသလဲ?

Ready test fees ကတော့ တစ်ဘာသာ $7.99 or ဘာသာစုံ $25.99 ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Ready Test အောင်မှသာ Real Test ကို စတင်ဖြေဆိုနိုင်မှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

• Can I process payments myself for the GED® Ready and Real test, the official exams, or for purchasing my Diploma and Transcripts?

Yes, you can process these payments personally. However, please be advised that due to the Official Payment Policy updated on October 30, 2025, local Myanmar bank cards (Visa/Mastercard) are currently not supported. You must use an International (Overseas) bank card to successfully complete the transaction.

• GED ready and real test ဝယ်ယူခြင်း၊ Diploma and transcript ဝယ်ယူခြင်းအပါအဝင် Payment Process များကိုကိုယ်တိုင်လုပ်လို့ရပါသလား?

သွင်းလို့ရပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်းရှိဘဏ်များမှ (Visa/ Master) card များကို အသုံးပြုလို့မရပဲ Overseas bank card များဖြင့်သာအသုံးပြုန်ိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ 30 Oct 2025 မှစပြီး GED ဘက်မှတရားဝင်ထုတ်ပြန်ထားသော Payment Policy ကြောင့်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

GED® test fees

• How much are the fees for the GED® test? Do I need to make a deposit in advance ,or should it be paid on the exam day?

The GED® test will cost $80 for each subject. You can start scheduling after successfully completing the readiness test. If you have already decided the day you want to answer, it would be better to schedule in advance to ensure you get a seat on that date.

• GED real test fees ကဘယ်လောက်ဖြစ်မလဲ။ ကြိုပြီး‌ငွေသွင်း ( Schedule ဆွဲ )ဖို့လိုလား/ လာဖြေတဲ့နေ့မှသွင်းရမှာလား?

GED real test ကတစ်ဘာသာကို $80 ကျသင့်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Ready test အောင်ပြီးတဲ့ဘာသာကို စပြီး schedule ဆွဲလို့ရပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်ဖြေချင်တဲ့နေ့ကိုသေချာသိပြီဆိုရင်ကြိုပြီး schedule ဆွဲမှသာ seat ရဖို့သေချာတာမို့ ကြိုပြီး schedule ယူဖို့လိုပါတယ်။

• How many GED® exam subjects can I take in a day?

You can take one subject per day, or you can even take four within a single day if you want.

• GED real test ကိုတစ်ရက်ကိုဘယ်နှဘာသာဖြေဆိုနိုင်ပါသလဲ?

တစ်ရက်အတွင်းတစ်ဘာသာကနေ လေးဘာသာအထိမိမိနိုင်သလောက်ဖြေဆိုနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ခွဲဖြေလို့ လည်း ရပါတယ်။
Passing Score

• What is the passing score for the GED® test?

You are required to score at least 145 points out of 200 points for each subject to pass both the GED® Ready test and the the GED® test.

• GED passing score ကဘယ်လောက်လဲ?

Ready test or Real Test passing score က 145မှတ် out of 200မှတ်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Calculator

• Is it allowed to use a calculator during the test?

Yes, the candidates are allowed to use the onscreen (built-in) calculator, and you are not permitted to bring your personal calculators.

• GED test ဖြေတဲ့အခါ Calculator သုံးခွင့်ရှိပါသလား?

• If you are not able to take the GED® test, you need to reschedule or cancel it at least 24 hours before the exam time. For rescheduling, you can change the date immediately, but if you want to cancel, you will be refunded within 5 to 7 business days.

• GED real test ကို အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် မဖြေဖြစ်ခဲ့ရင် Cancel လို့ရပါသလား။ Cancel လုပ်ဖို့ အချိန်အကန့်အသတ်ရှိသလား?

GED real test ကို အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် မဖြေဖြစ်ခဲ့ ရင် exam time မတိုင်ခင် ( ၂၄ ) နာရီကြိုပြီး reschedule or cancel လုပ်ရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Reschedule အတွက် ချက်ချင်း ရက်ရွေ့လို့ ရပေမဲ့ Cancel ဆိုရင် Refund က 5 to 7 Business day ကြာမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

• No, you won’t be. If you want to retake the test, you will need to pay the fees again from the beginning and make a new appointment to take it.

• GED real test ကို cancel လုပ်ဖို့နောက်ကျခဲ့ရင်‌‌ရော ဒါမှမဟုတ် ဖြေဆိုမဲ့နေ့မှာလာမဖြေဖြစ်ခဲ့ရင်ရော refund ပြန်ရနိုင်လား?

မရနိုင်ပါဘူး။ Test ကိုပြန်ဖြေချင်ရင်တော့ Fees ကိုအစကပြန်သွင်းပြီး appointment အသစ်ပြန်လုပ်မှဖြေလို့ရပါမယ်။

• If you don't like the score, you can retake the readiness test indefinitely. However, you will need to purchase it again and pay the fees.

• GED ready test ကိုအောင်မြင်ခဲ့ပေမဲ့အမှတ်မကြိုက်ရင်ပြန်ဖြေခွင့်ရှိပါသလား။ ဘယ်နှကြိမ်အထိပြန် ဖြေလို့ရပါသလဲ?

• If you want to retake a subject that you passed, you need to send an email to 'help@ged.com', clearly describing your reasons to request it.

• Real test မှာ Pass ဖြစ်ပေမဲ့အမှတ်မကြိုက်လို့ပြန်ဖြေမယ်ဆိုရင်ရော ဖြေခွင့်ရှိပါသလား?

Pass ဖြစ်တဲ့ဘာသာရပ်ကိုပြန်ဖြေမယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ ‘help@ged.com’ ကို mail ပို့ပြီး request တောင်းဖို့လိုပါတယ်။ ပြန်ဖြေချင်တဲ့အကြောင်းအရာကိုသေချာလေးဖော်ပြပေးဖို့လိုပါလိမ့်မယ်။

• If you want to retake the exam for a fail, you are able to retake it three times within 60 days.

• GED real test မှာ Fail တဲ့ဘာသာကိုဘယ်နှကြိမ်ပြန်ကြိုးစားဖြေခွင့်ရှိပါသလဲ။

Fail ဖြစ်တဲ့ဘာသာကိုပြန်ဖြေမယ်ဆိုရင် ရက် ၆၀ အတွင်း (၃) ကြိမ်ပြန်ဖြေခွင့်ရှိပါတယ်။

• Only a digital version of the certificate is available, which can be obtained through the extractable link sent to your Gmail. You can issue the diploma and transcript a total of seven times within a period of 180 days. If you exceed the specified limit, you will have to repurchase it at the price of $15.

• Diploma & transcript တွေကိုဘယ်လိုပုံစံနဲ့ရနိုင်မှာလဲ။ Digital or hard copy ရွေးချယ်ခွင့်ရှိပါ သလား? Free ထုတ်နိုင်တဲ့ ကာလကိုရော ကန့်သတ်ထားတာ ရှိလား?

Digital certificate ကိုသာရရှိမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ထုတ်ယူနိုင်တဲ့ link ကိုမိမိရဲ့ Gmail ထဲပို့ပေးမှာဖြစ်ပါ တယ်။ Diploma & transcript ကို ရက်ပေါင်း ၁၈၀ အတွင်း အကြိမ်အရေအတွက် (၇) ကြိမ်ထုတ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ သတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့ အကြိမ်ရေထက်ကျော်သွားရင်တော့တစ်ခုကို $15 နဲ့ပြန်ဝယ်ရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

• If there is even one mistake in your name spelling or date of birth, you are not allowed to take the exam at all. However, you can take the test if there is a spacing error in your name.

• If you have already made an appointment at the KMD Exam Center, we do assist you with updating your name or DOB. The necessary information must be provided by the candidate to proceed.

• Name or DOB လွဲနေရင် KMD Exam Center က ကူညီပီး ပြင်ပေးပါသလား?

KMD Exam Center မှာ Appointment ယူပီးသားဆို Name or DOB Update လုပ်ဖို့ အတွက် ကူညီပေးပါတယ်။ လိုအပ်တဲ့ Information တွေကို Candidate ဘက်မှပေးနိုင်ရပါမယ်။

• Eligibility alerts can appear due to various reasons, when
(1) you have created two GED accounts
(2) your GED account has been locked
(3) you are not approved to take the test
(4) you want to switch to another country to take the test.
We do assist as much as possible to deal with those issues.

• တခြားသော Eligibility Alert ကျရင် ရော ကူညီပေးပါသလား?

Eligibility Alert က ပုံစံ မျိုးစုံ ဖြစ်တတ်ပါတယ်။
(1) GED Account နှစ်ခု ရှိတာ

(4) တခြားနိုင်ငံ ပြောင်းဖြေချင်တာ စရှိတဲ့ မတူတဲ့ မတူတဲ့တွေ ဖြစ်နေတတ်ပါတယ်။ တတ်နိုင်သလောက် ကူညီ‌ပေးပါတယ်။

• For the exam, you are provided with an erasable notebook, a marker, ear plugs, and a water bottle. In addition to those, a test center administrator is always present to monitor the exam session.

• Exam Day မှာ အကြမ်းစာရွက်နဲ့ ဘောပင် ကို ယူလာဖို့ လိုပါသလား? Exam Room ထဲမှာ Center ဘက်ကပေးထားတဲ့ Facility ပြောပြပေးနိုင်ပါသလား?

မလိုပါဘူး။ Exam Room ထဲကို ID card တစ်ခုတည်းသာ ယူဆောင်ခွင့် ရှိပါတယ်။ exam အတွက်လိုအပ်တဲ့ erasable notebook, marker, ear plugs, water bottle, အပြင် standby test center administrator အမြဲ ရှိပါတယ်။

• Exam Room ထဲမှာ အကူအညီ တစ်စုံတစ်ရာ လိုရင် ဘယ်လို အသိပေးရမလဲ?
